Trita falls into the well and curses his brothers
Lord Balarama; brother of Lord Krishna, went to Udpan Tirtha after Prabhas Tirtha near the Sarasvati river in the course of his pilgrimage. Sage Tirta used to live there before. He once cursed his brothers to become wolves. The amazing fact was, that he consumed the Soma (the ritual drink of the Soma plant) internally as well simplest through his extraordinary asceticism. let us know how did he it in a quick.
Sage Gautama had three sons named Ekata, Dvita or Dwita and Trita. They all became top-notch religious sages. They achieved Brahmaloka through their severe penance. After their father's loss of life, human beings regarded them as Yajaman( who performed all of the non-secular works of Brahmins). Among three of them, Trita grew to become out to be the finest via his Svadhyaya and saintly deeds. He changed into reputable similar to his father sage Gautama and was respected by all the other sages.
Sooner or later Ekata and Dwita thought of earning more wealth through their brother Trita. They deliberate to carry out Yajamans' yajna together with Trita to acquire many animals as Dakshinas and to drink Soma on the completion of their yajnas. They did it accordingly and acquired many cows after the yajna. Then all of them walked in the direction of the path of the east. Trita was leading them. On their way, Ekata and Dwita thought of keeping all of the animals to themselves only and now not to provide those to Trita. They discussed with each other that, "Trita is an expert in performing Yajnas and additionally a Vedic scholar. He can anytime acquire many animals. Right now we have to take these cows together with us simplest and let Trita go anywhere he wishes to."
It was nighttime. A wolf was standing in their way. There was a deep well near the riverside of Saraswati. Trita noticing the wolf, began running away from there and straight away fell inside that deep well. Trita called his brothers for assistance. Ekata and Dwita heard his outcry but abandoned him there. Out of fear of the wolf and greed for those cows, they ran away with those cows. Trita sage at the same time as being in this sort of huge crisis started thinking of a way out to get out from it and to drink the Soma as well.
Trita saw a long trailing plant that was spread into that
well. Sage at the same time as staying interior that sand full well, imagined water and along with his willpower established Agni there. Then whilst assuming
the trailing plant to be Soma, recalled Rig, Yajur, and Sama Vedas and began out
the yajna. He crushed the trailing plant with sand grains and stones and
got the Soma to drink out of it. Then even as doing Sankalp of ghee inside the
water (through the intention shaped by way of heart and mind), he set parts for deities,
prepared Soma, and presented it via announcing Vedic mantras loudly. Those Vedic
chantings reached Svargaloka or heaven and distracted them. No person knew the
reason behind it.

All the Deities with a worry that Trita sage might create their replicas through Yajna, reached near him. They noticed glorifying Trita sage in the well. They all advised the sage that they needed to take their part in offerings now. Trita told him that he already lost his mind in this type of awful situation after falling into the terrifying well. The sage then whilst chanting mantras properly offered their parts to the deities and pleased them. Deities wanted to grant him boons. Sage then asked all of them to rescue him from that well and also wished any human being to acquire Soma whilst doing Achamana (a purification ritual that is believed to remedy all physical and mental impurities). Deities granted.
After listening to this, the Saraswati river filled the well with her water and took the sage out of it. Then sage went to his brothers, with anger cursed them to become wolves to roam around everywhere and cited then that Golangul, rich and monkeys would be born to them. Immediately each Ekata and Dwita seemed like wolves from their faces.
