WHY LORD KRISHNA WAS HAPPY AFTER THE DEATH OF GHATOTKACHA

That mace was destroyed with a weapon named Stunakarna earlier by Balarama once during his battle with Jarasandha in combat. With the force of that weapon, that astounding mace penetrated extirpated the earth and fell on the put where Demoness  Jara used to remain. (Jara had combined the two parts of the body of Jarasandha into one after his birth). Subsequently, the mace killed Jara beside her children and relatives there. For which Bhima slaughtered Jarasandha afterwards. Pompous Ekalavya was asked by Drona to give his right thumb as 'Guru Dakshina' to please you as it were.
