Ghatotkacha Kills Alayudha and rescues Bhima
Ghatotkacha was the son of Bhima and demoness Hidimba. Bhima was born from the wind god thus having huge power. He
had slaughtered numerous evil presences like Hidimb, Bakasura, Jatasura,
Kirmira. Do you know he was once spared by his son during the Mahabharata war? Ghatotkacha had murdered numerous devils like Alambusha; son of Jatasura
and killed many gigantic asuras as well. Karna afterwards slaughtered him with
the divine Shakti weapon that was given to him by the deity ruler Indra in exchange
for his Kavach and Kundal. Before Ghatotkacha was killed by Karna he had
protected his father from a devil. Let us talk almost in brief.
On the fourteenth day of the Mahabharata war, after the
sunset, The battle continued. Seeing the unimaginable Maya of Ghatotkacha,
Duryodhana requested the devil Alambusha to kill him. Ghatotkacha cut off
Alambusha's head with his furious sword and slaughtered him. At that point, he
hurried towards Karna. They both battled like two lions, assaulted, and harmed
each other amid the night war. During that battle, Demon Alayudha: a relative of
Demon Bakasura reached there with his biggest armed force. Like Bakasura the
other devils such as Hidimb and Kirmira who were killed by Bhima earlier used to be Alayudha's
companions. In order to avenge their passing, Alayudha assaulted Bhima on the battlefield.
Alayudha was ghastly similar to Ghatotkacha.
Seeing Karna getting into inconvenience while battling
with Demon Ghatotkacha, Duryodhana asked Alayudha to slaughter Ghatotkacha first.
Alayudha concurred and attacked Ghatotkacha there. Ghatotkacha ceased battling
Karna and conjointly counter-assaulted Alayudha. Finding himself free from the
demon Ghatotkacha, Karna started fighting Bhima in the war zone. Bhima noticed
his son being captured by Alayudha Hence surged towards Alayudha. Since Alayudha had
already chosen to vindicate Bhima, consequently, he shot many arrows at
him. Alayudha and Bhima battled energetically by means of utilizing their bolts
and maces against each other.
Bhima crushed numerous asuras there and made him run away. Alayudha indeed annihilated numerous Panchal armed forces and their steeds.
Alayudha harmed Ghatotkacha by hitting him on his head with his Parigha and made him oblivious. However courageous Ghatotkacha got back his sense and used his mace against Alayudha, crushed his chariot, and killed its charioteer and steeds. Alayudha at that point took the assistance of Maya, made rain of blood from the sky, and covered the complete sky with unnerving clouds along with thunder and lightning. Ghatotkacha damaged the Maya of Alayudha by Maya as it were. Alayudha at that point rained stone on Ghatotkacha but it was halted by Ghatotkacha's arrows. Both the strong demons hurt each other by using numerous weapons like Parigha, Sula, mace, Musala, Pinaka, khadga, taumar, Kampana, prasa, Naracha, Bhalla, chakra, pharsha, goli, mindipala, Girish, ullukhal, and numerous gigantic trees. That incredible war between these two evil presences resembled bursting thunderstorms. Then they both caught each other by their hair and began sword battling. Quickly Ghatotkacha caught Alayudha, lifted him, and slammed him on the floor, and after that cut off his head with his sword. Ghatotkacha then roared boisterously on the battlefield and tossed the head of the dead Alayudha towards Duryodhana. Duryodhana lamented on the passing of Alayudha. Seeing the colossal strength of Ghatotkacha, he nearly thought the promise of deathless Bhima regarding murdering him, would certainly come true one day. Likewise, Ghatotkacha saved Bhima from the demon Alayudha and scared the complete Kaurava warriors.
